Dusk is calling
Time to settle in
Time to settle down
Time to go home.
Night is coming
Fading light
As I drive away.
They look so soft
They are so inviting
They remind me of
What is to come
Later.
Fluffed up and
Spaced just so
Placed just right.
I look out from the
Dashboard window
Almost home
Almost time.
Night is coming
And soon I’ll
Be resting my head
On pillow clouds
Placed just so…..
