The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity and filled with anticipation for this upcoming week and the Between the Worlds: An Esoteric Interfaith Conference.Tuesday marks the ending of  the 9-week Astrology class I’ve been teaching as part of the Tuesday Evening Series and I was pleased to find that the third installment of the 13 Keys articles (The Foundation of Yesod) was featured on Witchvox.  I will be teaching a workshop Thursday at 4:45pm) at The Between the Worlds Conference entitled The Breath of Light: An Energetic Protocoland will have my Three New Books on hand for purchase.

The Between The World Conference begins on Thursday, December 13 and runs through Sunday, December 16. Registration begins Thursday at 2:00p.m. with special day and weekend only rates.  So, be sure to stop in and say hello, join me in my workshop , check out the Author’s table and enjoy community, great teachings and new friends.

I am pleased to announce that the First Two Volumes of The Inner Chamber Series and AWeekly Reflection: Musings for the Year are now available. 

The Inner Chamber Series offers basics of crafting a foundation of tools to be used in your magickal practice.  The first volume, It’s Written in the Stars, discusses the principles of Astrology and the second volume, Poetry of the Spheres takes a look at the Qabalah through the lens of the Western Mysteries.

The air is full and heavy this time of the year as the veils thin and the spirits walk among us; some offering guidance and assistance and others being mischievous and stirring up an already potent mix of energy trouble. There is a distinct and growing crispness to the air as the weather offers a preview of what to expect in the coming winter months, and leaves crackle underfoot reminding us that summer’s moisture has given way and the dryness of death is near….

Crackling leaves are burning

transformed from life to death

The crow calls out relentlessly

to those unseen and

The Crone’s outstretched hand

pulls me tightly to her breast

The air chills at her touch

Long icy fingers tapping out

the heart beat of life’s pulse within

The solemn silence of darkness

The pause of silent breath

Power and strength drawn

from the sinewy strands of time

Quartered path of gravel and stone

Flesh and blood

Moonlight and stars

The wellspring of Earth

The light of the cosmos above

I tremble within Her embrace

Form giving way to the formless

Mind swirling within the waters of insight

Sight pierces the veil, the

Road cautiously chosen

Knowledge of the unknown becomes

the heat of my desire and

The quickening spark waiting in fertile darkness

pulls me towards rebirth into a place of Light.

The air is chilling and leaves are turning.  The smell of wood in fireplaces and the comfort of snuggling deeply into warm covers promises the call of late Fall and the rising of the Crone’s power as Samhain nears. Enjoy these beautiful Autumn days.

stands ready at the guard

all of life holds steady

bracing for the storms

that lay ahead

We go where the wild things are

and all of life lay within the

heart of He who Guards

as the fields become

barren and the crops

yield only the promise

of

renewal

Please join me for a day-long workshop exploring the Qabalistic Tree of Life.  This intensive is an introduction to the Qabalah as used within the Western Mystery Tradition.  The Deeper meaning of the Qabalistic Tree of Life is a study that becomes a journey into the spiritual and mystical nature of ourselves, our world, and all that is of this Cosmos. Having its origins in the Jewish Mystical system of Kabbalah (The difference in spelling is generally the first clue as to which system is being used) the Western Mystery system of the Qabalah uses the energies, correspondences and analogies in the language of a magickal and occult expression.

The Day will conclude with a Ritual of the Spheres.

An excerpt from the second in the series of articles on Witchvox about the Qabalistic Tree of Life.

In this series of articles, we will be starting at the base of the Tree- the Tenth Sphere of Malkuth. We live in the manifest world. We are Spirit encased in physical matter, and as such have access to both the most refined and the densest of realities. By starting our journey in the place we call home and moving through its many levels- concrete physicality, elemental and spiritual levels existing within this plane of earth we have a very personal point of reference to carry us through as we move into those realms where even the most articulate and succinct of words barely touch the surface of understanding. And, so we begin, anchored in the reality of our plane of existence and ever aspiring upward.
